Description
My cowboy belt buckle. It took a lot longer to make than I thought. I spent hours just trying to get the silver to solder to the bronze. It is made of bronze for the backing, silver, and copper. It's an otter done in the style of the indigenous Northwest Pacific artwork, which has always been a favorite of mine. This picture was taken before it was polished, but polished metal is impossible to photograph anyway.Related content

I just cut the different pieces out and sweat-soldered them on to the bronze back.
