The whole no breasts thing can fool anyone. The character *is* drawn pretty gender neutral.

I never want anyone to feel bad about mistaking my character for a dude-- up until this comic, it hasn't mattered no matter how you read it. And besides, in spirit, I really am more like a guy than a girl and I don't identify with either gender. I'm just a "me."
Also, the character does look pretty gender-neutral, but that's just me all over again. I'm flat-chested, have an androgynous haircut, and I like unisex clothes. Who's to say at a passing glance? The only thing that gives it away is that I'm really short, but then again, some dudes are, too. Everyone is screwed trying to figure it out!

We treat it with good humor most times. It's just a bit of weirdness in an otherwise normal walk. I would say that we've been lucky to have such innocuous experiences so far, compared to some others in the LGBT community.
