Description
This was a sketch i had laid out on canvas a good while ago, and found it buried in my ever growing pile of canvases i tend to buy while on art supply binges, but never get off my duff and actually use...Since i caught a painting bug, thought i'd actually make use of it

Thats amazing. It reminds me of Bespin from Star Wars. I think its spines along the bottom.

Very nice borders suggested by just the highlights and shade spots on the vessel. ^^ The little doo-dads give it a good sense of scale.
The one thing that iffs me is the placement of the large planet (or perhaps its the shape of the vessel's bow). They seem to meld together into the same arc. It takes away from the bow's unique shape suffice'd to say.

yeah, that was bugging me a bit when i was working on it as well, but i couldn't put my finger on exactly why... I'll definately keep that in mind on future works not that you stuck your finger on the reason,

I thought this was awesome when you showed it to me and it's twice as awesome now. Love the guywires on the ship and the curvey insectiod design of it. It's very Syd Mead-like.
