BEHOLDfirst time I've picked up my tablet in months xD
photoshop didn't even freeze, jesus.
anyway, this is Alianne of Pirate's Swoop, and Nawat.
there isn't much of an explaination of it, except I loved them from the start.
okay but really, I have no excuse for the laziness of this. I don't have a background, I didn't even try with shading. blawww. I guess I liked it enough flat and simple, plus I'm so tired, and my hand one big cramp and I dunno next chance I'll get to draw something on the computer.

I don't particularly desire critiques on this, but if there's a screaming flaw that I'm missing, let me know.

The bird is awesome! I really liked the little, subtle details the most, i.e. the wind/air going away from the bird and the grass around the dude.

I love the flat colour on this! Freaking ba-jesus woman!
I love her! The pose just flows so well with the picture.
Plus, the bird looks fantastic.
But the background looks good with the solid white. I think at least. The flat colours and stark white background match perfectly.

You're got t read the books Alianne's in before you can draw her, which means you've got a whopping two more series' to get through. xD But the second series, the Immortals, will probably be your favorite. When I look at Tamora enthusiasts 60 percent of the time Daine (the main character from it) is their favorite and 80 percent of the time her romance is their favorite pairing. SO SNAP TO IT, MAN. 8D I'm not letting you lose interest halfway through like with warriors. xD

But thank you xD I've been working on using different poses. So far it's not coming TOO well, but as I go I feel like different aspects of art just come to me after a while. Like I struggle with them for the longest time, then suddenly POOF I can do them. Like hands, then profiles, feet, clothes. Hopefully I have my pose-epitome soon.
And thanks, I really do like flat color and not JUST because of my morbid laziness, but it looks neater and simpler to me, which I like. It's something I'll probably stick to.

Firstly, I love that baaaaard. :U I always have issues with talons and those look so...muscular and accurate and arrgdhslj. And her clothes are just magnificent, you should teach me how to draw folds 8| Oh and I like her neck too, for some reason.
I wish you would have defined the fingers more but I figure that's just laziness, ay? xD

also, I just realized all the folds on the tunic are in the wrong direction, since she's twisting slightly they should go from her left shoulder to her right hip.

It's just natural. Look at clothes, or look at tutorials or something. I don't know, it just came to me after a while. Like profiles and eyebrows. xD
It's weird you like the feet because when I did them I was just like -SCRIBBLES GECKO FINGERS- then added bigass claws.
