There is something that I really like about this. I looked at all your other posted art and they show a fine talent, however for me at least there is something captivating about this one. I like the looseness and the energy that seems to show. Sort of like you took a pallet knife and started slashing at it. I love the loosness better then I do tightly controlled painting. However you did this even though it is a "little practiced" style I hope you keep it up. I for one would like to see more.

I rarely comment, because I feel as if my thoughts rarely do justice to the art I like. But I will just say that everything about this picture resonates with me. The scene, the use of light and shadow, the color selection. But most of all the texture - it's just so wonderfully layered. Outstanding, sir.
