Wait a minute... Mulan wasn't a princess. She was not born a princess, didn't marry a prince. Never a princess

"Disney Princess" is different from actual princess. Disney actually has a set of rules for a character to become an official Disney princess. In Mulan's case, she was able to become a "Disney Princess" because of her act of heroism.
