Alice in Wonderland has always been one of my favorite stories of all time(the other being red riding hood) and I have painted her a few times before, it is definetely a story I feel quite close to.

I love the that there seem to be some kind of darkness or spooky/strange in this piece with Alice in terms of presentation. It's like a mix between Disney orginal Alice and American McGee's darker portrayal of Alice in Wonderland.

not really, for me the original story is already a bit creepy and disturbing, but i do love that game though.

It's a big shame the latest two live-action movies with Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton were so lackluster. I wish they'd make a movie inspired by American MccGee's Alice in Wonderland. That'd be so amazing. But I highly doubt Disney would ever make that movie. Probably another studio would need to film it.

I love that she looks a little unhinged. I feel like modern Alice would be that eccentric college girl that everybody assumes is just high from weed, but she's actually naturally spacey and overly imaginative.

You do such a nice job working in little details from the story, like with the rose on her shirt, her charm bracelet, the tattoo. And I love the Cheshire cat grin behind her.
