Horikoshi says that he finds her hair absolutely difficult to draw....I agree. Like drawing buns/odangos are okay, but when he adds all the splindly extra hair pieces around the buns, it makes it harder to draw for some reason. :/ Also, Toga’s splindly hair reminds of the Red Spider Lily and in Japanese folklore, Red Spider Lilies are associated with death, so I guess it make sense since she....kills people. Coincidence?—
