Well, I finally got all my Alexiel photos back from ~unforgivenmind , and they're just mindblowing! I knew we took some amazing ones, but to see them fully processed rather than just flipping through them on the laptop...lolOne of the only times I can oogle at myself xDD

The curl will naturally occur because the feathers will all have a slight curl to them

Thanks very much! This costume didn't get a lot of con time just because it's a bitch to wear (and Lionel stole all my con time with an epic shoot XD).
I made the wings with PVC pipe, chicken wire, batting and turkey wings, but I have a tutorial in my gallery for making them out of a wire base if you wanna go look ^^

That's a really cool angel costume and I love the setting and lighting too... it's just... heavenly, lol. Have you worn this to any cons? I'm curious about other people's reactions to it.

I've worn it without the wings at Anime Oasis last spring and it was well received, and wore it only for a photoshoot in September at a con, but the people loved the photos.
I plan to fix it up a little (from extended con use) and wear it to Sakura-con in Seattle.
