Actor, Leslie Howard, portrays Ashley Wilkes, from the movie adaptation of Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind.This manip is based on a photograph of Mr. Howard's picture in the Playbill from the premiere of the movie. The first premiere took place in Atlanta, but there were gala "premieres" all over the south. My ancestors went to the premiere in New Orleans, and obtained their copy of the original playbill.

Actually, this was simply a photo of the picture in the playbill, and all I did was spruce it up some, with some simple edits. I was asked recently to add more men to my collection, so I'm trying to do that.

I was working on my owl piece, and a kraken but I was making too many mistakes so I gave up. How about you?

Well, I've been trying to catch up with the manips I need to make featuring various Deviants.
It's a lot of fun for me, and it'll take me a while to cathc up. I like to create things using peoples pictures, if I can find just the right context, usually in my "old song" genre, or something. I'd actually been thinking of asking you if I could work on one of your pictures, but I won't be able to get to it for a week or so. Anyway, How are you liking DA so far? Is it what you expected?

Eh it's the same as it used to be I guess. It's not so involved now, opposed to what I was like with it before.. But I'll get back into it slowly. It's certainly inspired me enough to get back into drawing

Oh, yes, it'll be something fun. I really appreciate it. Sometimes it takes me a while to find the right context, and, of course, if people don't like them, I just remove them, but that's not happened yet. lol
