EDIT: color version is now up peeps [link]No, I haven't watched game of thrones too much. The avengers though...... way too much. I know every single one of Tony's jokes by now.... lalalala. But I made all you fine da people another Loki. I like contributing to the massive stack of fan art here. But I love making pictures with his face from the movie, ones that people haven't seen thousands of times already. I use stills from the movie to get the angles of the face right, but the drawings are all 100% drawn myself.
now, I like how it turned out, he looks genuinely mad. But more so in the calculative way. I just try and imagine what would happen if he were the king..... bad things I guesss.....
Anyway, have fun with my mad king Loki art. I'll make a full body of it soon I think... on the throne. Tell me if anyone likes that idea yeah?

This is stunning!! The shading is so delicately done, and I love how his hair curls in just the right places to indicate messiness. I also love how this is so unique from all of the other Loki pictures I've seen. You have a lovely style and I can't wait for the full body version on the throne. It's gonna be so super cool!!!!

His hair is an enormous nightmare tho. I do hope it will look as good on the full drawing. Since I'm only a traditional artist I have to scale down the portrait so I hope that doesn't turn it all to crap.... booooo

I hear ya, I work predominately in traditional art and it's so hard to put good details in a character's face when you're depicting a whole body. Just try your best, I'm sure you'll be fine!
