Description Karna/Twiggy from SF2.
I always imagined cursed weapons in any game cause the user to change to a blood thirsty and sadistic person...
Well, master monks in SF2 are already the strongest units, but with a cursed weapon you should be cautious!!

My new tablet arrived my home today! And surprisingly fast too, I ordered it just two days ago.
I finally could start coloring the lineart I had for a week, I'm glad I could complete it so fast.
Right now I just want to get used to my new tools, haha.^^

Shining Force and it's characters are property of SEGA

TemΓa que los colores no se distinguieran entre luz y sombras.

She looks more laid-back than "blood thirsty", but it's a nice piece of art.Β  Very nice detail in how she's pulling her gloves on: the poise of her fingers, the folds in her gloves.Β  Very cute shoulders, too.Β  The only problem is that her waist is too thin, especially compared to her thighs.

Thank you very much! I'll take note about the waist.

About the face I wanted to show her a little playful, as taking the life of the foe like a mere toy.

Didn't Cursed Weapons cause the wielder to skip their turn every so often? Whatever. The Master Monks of SF2 were just plain broken.

Well yeah, but this is only my idea of cursed weapons.

Master monks really are broken isn't it? it's almost as if the programmers wanted to make the sexy character the BEST character, hahaha.

Indeed. Higher Attack growth on top of healing, buffs and debuffs with an awesome bod to boot? Yes, please!

Thanks!^^

As far as I know, tablets are somewhat cheap and easy to order online.

If you get one, I know you'll improve really soon!

Shining force art? ... This... This needs to be more of a thing.
And I also need to actually play more than the first game.

I agree, thare's too little shining force art.

You definitely should play SF2 and 3, they are all amazing!^^

What system was 3 for?
And WHY DIDN'T WE GET SHINING FORCE FEATHER, ANYWAY?! IT WAS A RETURN TO THE SRPGS OVER THE STUPID HACK-AND-SLASHES!

Eon-Sonny In reply to Kenpokid4 [2013-09-21 14:41:32 +0000 UTC]

It's for Sega Saturn, it's split in three parts, and I think only the first was translated.

Uhhh, I'm really uninformed about the new games, I didn't even knew it was a SRPG!

Martin-III In reply to Eon-Sonny [2013-09-22 12:45:41 +0000 UTC]

Actually, there are fan translation patches for all three SF3 scenarios, and even the SF3 premium disc.

As always, the Shining series mingles with all the major RPG subgenres.Β  Shining Hearts is traditional turn-based, Shining Wind and Shining Force Cross are hack-and-slash, Shining Force Feather and Shining Force Exa Mobile are SRPGs, etc.

SF3 is for the Saturn.Β  There's also SF3 Scenario 2 and SF3 Scenario 3, both also for the Saturn.Β  (My favorite of the series, though, is SF CD for the Sega CD.)

For the answer to your second question, why not e-mail someone at Atlus USA and ask?

... Atlus published it? That's odd; they've been really good about localizations ltely.

Martin-III In reply to Kenpokid4 [2013-09-22 12:41:21 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, Atlus has localized all the handheld Shining games since Shining Soul back in 2003. Don't know why they decided to pass on Shining Force Feather. Good news though is that there's a fan translation being put together for Feather.
