ahh... much better. this time it turned out like her. instead of her [link] father... the bandolier was mas pain. and her surcoat, the keys, all of them. nix couldn't have come up with a more detailed outfit. on another note, i don't like this because its to much like the american cover.so here you go, sabriel, from the book. and i'm going to bed now.
edit: talk about creative titles. my mom shoved me off to bed with little time to hit the last continue button.

I love how weird this looks. @.@ The bleach-blue quality. It DOES look like Sabriel, and if it harkens back to the original cover, I don't mind. Its clearly your style, and I was a fan of the orginal cover-art besides.
I think most people drawing Sabriel have a tendency to want to make her delicate and puny, and rather girly. But here she's not the type of girl who's gonna crack in two when the wind blows.

I like this! The lines are so bold, yet the colors are washed out--it's a nice contrast. Sabriel was such a fantastic book.

Geez.... Yes, the main reason that I haven't dared to do an Sabriel fan art yet... that surcoat! So many keys.. *twitches* my lack of patience isn't usually a good thing. The hair looks really good though---and it's not too much like the cover. Hm...I'd say, out of the Sabriel fan pictures I've seen so far---this'd be my favorite... Everyone else seems to make her look all.... pretty. I mean....she's pretty, but not in a beautiful, face of a playboy bunny sorta way... Erm. Yes...
Did anyone else notice how different Sabriel seems to be in Lireal?

Everything looks really clean and graphic-y in this, which is great. I think everybody who's seen the Dillons' artwork is at least mildly obsessed with it 
Is it just me or was Sabriel better than the sequel? ?It seems like it was more mature, or... something. I haven't read Abhorsen yet; have you? (obviously)

thanks. right now i'm re reading the whole trilogy. right in the middle of lireal at the momment. i don't know, i remember i really liked abhorsen for some reason. its just that the charaters are a few years younger then the last book.
