RoyGBiv-MLP commissioned an artwork featuring Ditzy Doo and Dinky Doo as a family. This was the result.I'm very satisfied with the final product.

Even if not canon, I still want to believe. My favorite fanfic treatment of Ditzy Doo so far is "Shipping and Handling" by PegasusRescueBrigade , which hangs heavily on Ditzy having raised Dinky on her own.

Isn't she like pale purple? I guess the scanner killed her colors a bit. Derpy is far more bueish-gray than you probably see.
