That's a strange coincidence. Last weekend I was at the book store and opened up a Kafka short story bundle at a random page. It was this very story! I'm very eager to get into his writing, still have to read pretty much all of the famous ones.

It's so simple, yet there's something aesthetically pleasing about it … the three different colors, the nice angles, and the way the vertical line is slightly off-center. It looks nice.

In this case, I think simplicity is a virtue.
At first glance it is clear it is a corner, but looking at the black part as a bottom with something on the right stuck on it, it could as well be that way around, too... Or then it is just my eyes playing tricks on me.
