Well, that was another capture, of course - but the same issue ... somehow I had been attracted by these strange home-made anchors and still wondering what they are use for. Probably to fix some equipment in place, certainly not the boats themselves - too weak ....

Unless they used them to secure beached boats... but that could not be true for Portugal... tides are too strong. Perhaps you could go back there to find out.Β
