really, it's just scary how good this is. that's about as advanced as my critique can get for this piece, there's not much to improve

Great job on the setup and reflections. They are just right. I also love the colors you used, very eye catching.

yes, in bryce, next the the word "Create" theres a little right arrow like this ">" click it, and go to imported object, and find the "rounded cube"

one word. wow. its general design is so simple, but all the reflections make it complicated at the same time. i absolutely love it! 1-2-3-instaFav!!

Another good one, but for myself I like to see a bit more inovation in your images - I think mainly because otherwise I'm going to run out of constructive things to say. Yes it is good, but quite similar to the other ones you've done so far. How about something in there to contrast with the superperfect finish? Something hyper-realisic, but at the same time organic - like an old sock draped over one of the podiums - all right that's a bit of an extreme example, but maybe it will work to illustrate what I am trying to get at? Or have I just missed the point entirely?

yeah, i was just thinking the same thing. a lot of your images are m.o.t.s. ya know? i do like the arrangement and colors of this one though...
basically, its always good to experiment around - i mean, i make probably 10-15 renders of the same idea before i decide to make something out of it or trash it - so even though it could have looked nice, it didnt seem satisfactory to me as an image, per say. the same goes with animations - i made literally about 50 different 30-60 second long animations with bryce - but they were all the same - they all consisted of little metaballs flying around the screen in cool patterns, etc. so even though it probably wasnt my best production to see, i learned a ton about animating objects. so...
while these pictures are great and all, nicely rendered, a few suggestions are: keeping your best ones in the gallery, and copies of them in your scraps section, so people will see a variety at first glance, and then at a further glance they can notice all the other, 'similar' images you made. like i said, doing the same thing over again is great practice, and you laern a lot in that area, but its always fun to try something different - using your previous knowledge. so... maybe a scene with cubes, spheres, in great contrasting colors, but in a new background, with more objects interacting, or something... im just throwing out ideas, thats all.
well anyway, keep up the good work

Oh, I think this message was intended for EasyNow perhaps? Well, never mind, I agree with your points. Although I don't know what a m.o.t.s. might be. Maybe you could let me know?

more of the same.
and...its a little harsh in a way... i mean, of course all the pictures are different, but...yeah....sorry... the general trend is the same - of course, each artist has their own style(s), so, whattya know, maybe easynow will blow us out of the water with some insanely sweet picture, featuring the same stuff hes been using, heh, so......yep...

I have every confindence in him. Just I think we would be more amazed if we didn't see every step along the way. But it's horses for courses, and this is the without a doubt the right place for that kind of steeplechase.

Well that is a first, Popfizz, to add me to your list of friends after looking at someone else's work. I'm a little confused - nothing to do with you, it's my default state of mind - but shouldn't you be adding Eazynow to your list rather than me? Not that I mind, far from it, it just seems a little er... odd... er thanks.

Well that's fair enough. I too like simple things... sleeping, food and beer. Kinda explains the shape I'm in! Round.
