I couldn't agree more. Long have I seen a larger and larger number of our species diversifying into a sub-species and now you have named it. Bravo! Well named! I remember when studying D.H. Lawrence that he warned that humans were not indispensable, that Nature would be fine without them and that it would be a relief to have just a field of grass with hare sitting up (and I quote).
I agree that it is also the vast numbers. We are going to devour everything, kill one another and make the planet a wasteland (thinking of T.S. Eliot here too).
When I was a child I felt myself separating from a certain kind of human with whom I seemed to have nothing in common. I realise now that is must have been your sub-species, fucitalis.
Ever since I have been trying to avoid it wherever possible.

A sad story but I am very happy to know more about him. You take very good photos of him and he seems like a very good man.

Bob, in a strange way, is a muse to me now. Before he was attacked, we had some very fine rap sessions in his orchard, talking about the land, its environments and humans. Today, he doesn't remember a thing. Suffering severe brain damage has changed his character, and he can be a pain at times, but overall, he's a good guy.

Before the attack, we would sit & talk the night away, and greet the dawn chorus. He was the Founder of the environmental group, The Land Is Ours, back in the late '80s. He was also a Barrister. These days, I'm lucky if I get a coherent sentence out of him.How I miss my friend .
