Even as I kept playing with friend to make premade teams, I felt the game was forcing me to playing in an increasingly rigid manner. I tried to fool around toward the end with many Poppy jungle plays But MOBA don't really allow you to have "off" moments, since you drag your team. Same with DOTA2 which I took a few months after then quit for the same reasons once I started doing more serious matches. I found the latter game structure more interesting for variety sake but League's champions are more interesting design wise. 
Now I still do a few fanart for my game of the moment... but I keep changing ^^

I agree, seems the meta is really strict in these types of games, so they are more inspirational art-wise than entertaining to play really

By the way, what caught my eye was the egyptian Nidalee theme*, since I like that inspiration. I've recently tried the ongoing iteration of Unreal Tournament and really would like to draw some of the egyptian themed gladiators from the 2003-2004 ere who are unfortunately not featured in the more recent ones.
