I wanted to paint an illustration with her and the flower motif.
The painting is 12x15.5 inches in watercolor.
Time: 4 hrs
Points of Critique:
-What are the overall positives and negatives of the image?
-Where could aspects be improved?
-Is the photograph of the image sufficient in lighting? How can I improve?

This, drawing is all right its a solid drawing I can tell what it is and see what are you going for; so I gave you a 5/5. As far as originality goes its solid I very seen anything like it, 5/5. I feel like you could have done more with the hair and anthers. Like since you have equal the picture out with more plants, like have hair entangled with roses or leaves . Also, I would liked to have more light coming in form the left . As for antlers you should have flower bubs growing out and add more texture to them I think there just a little dull. So you get a 5/3 for technique I felt liked there could have been more done. Impact was a 5/4 I was interesting to look at it was just that there was not enough things that could have been there that wasn't.

Thank you for the critique. The hair was the biggest issue for me because in my sketches it wasn't just an ombre mass, it had breaks and flyaways but when I started painting I forgot about them, and didn't bring the supplies I needed with me to correct it. Having a pencil case for my art supplies was at the top of my list if "Things I need to improve on". There's only one correction I'd like to make, they are branches not actually animal antlers.
