I saw a giant man with a tiny cupcake on my way to work the other day. He looked so content, and it made me happy to see for some reason

I love that you put this in such a positive light. I feel like a lot of people would have seen the man with the cupcake and immediately choose to see him as some greedling. You could have chosen to draw him staring menacingly and hungrily down at his cupcake, but you chose to focus on how content he looked instead, and I think you portrayed it beautifully. This is what I love about the painting: there are so many ways that you could have drawn it, and you chose the better light.
I respected you as a painter when I first saw your work. I now also respect you as a person.
