Aha! The infamous toast! Wonderful job here, m'dear! I love how you didn't just copy a scene from the film(I've seen a lot of people do the power drill scene-must be a favorite..), but instead added your own spin onto a famous line! I watched this film for the first time last night, and I loved it! I wish I had my own Uncle Buck(I have NEVER been so jealous of two little kids in my life!), but more than that, I wish John were still around. Maybe he's not totally dead-maybe he's watching over us, and he's like a fairy godfather straight out of Cinderella. We can't see him or hear him, but he can, and he's happy to know that people still love him and miss him...

He was so amazing. I love him forever.

He was a very underrated actor who literally suffered for his craft. He needed to lose weight, but was dedicated to being what he was: the funny fat man.
