Finished at last! I've been using this painting as a 'work in progress' demo at the occasional Art & Craft fair etc, so it's been a while on the easel! I really enjoyed doing this, probably one of my better works, but, ..you judge !Pastel on velour 40cm x 30cm

Stunning! Was worth the time on the easel! Used velour 1time but its verry dusty and takes a lot of pastel in 1 time. I draw on pastelmat, love it. You made a great painting and a good picture of it. Good pictures are hard to make with the good colors.

This is amazing work Dean; from the brilliant hard to do hands, right down to the folds of the cloth, and braids of his beard. You've captured his eyes beautifully and I love the beads
