For gold...for survive...for love...for help.

Inspiring work. Do you come up with the character stories before you draw, or during/after? How does the backstory play into your drawing process?

First im always to give a character a plausible dimension.I choose a theme and then start to look for references,the same process to 2d or 3d,after i find the right refs, i sketch the pose .Sometimes the story comes during the construction but once the theme are choosed i try to maintain that to the end
