At night, cities are full of lights. They are so bright they outshine the stars above. But maybe the real star hides somewhere, in the heart of the metropolis.Had a great time working on this one, trying a different style with bright colors and contrasts. I few references were used, notably for Sun's shirt. Her face and body are mostly original though.

I'm afraid I can't say exactly how much time it took, I often draw in several separate sessions. Maybe 10-15 hours ?
It's all done with Gimp from start to finish.
I've been drawing since very young, but didn't start to do big, coloured projects like this before going digital, 2.5 years ago. I wish I'd started sooner but hey, I guess I have my own rhythm ! I think I can improve a lot in a lot of areas.

As I said, the shirt is based on a picture so it was more of an integration process than really creating all the details. Glad you like the atmosphere, I really wanted to find a kind of surreal, night city mood. Love walking in streets at night.

Ok, c'est assez simpliste mais je ne trouve pas d'autres mots / onomatopés. Vraiment super réussi. La texture du top en dentelle est tout simplement hallucinante. Et la floppé de couleur dans l'arrière-plan amène beaucoup de dynamisme. Superbe!

Le top est basé sur une photo, donc je n'ai pas non plus passé 10000 heures à reproduire chaque détails. C'était plus un travail d'intégration, compléter là où ça n'allait pas, trouver les bonnes teintes, etc.
J'avais envie de me lâcher un peu sur les couleurs, content que ça te plaise.
