What are the colors used on the fourth one? I'm trying to color black hair but I have seen many artists that advise not to use the black color pencil and instead use other color pencils and layer them.. Thank you!

On the fourth sample, the base color is dark brown while the second layer is black. While it's true that black should be avoided when shading, the black colored pencil can be used to color 'black' objects. Granted, I recommend you don't apply it directly to white space as this can lead to poorly executed highlights. A brown colored pencil can usually be used create a nice base on which to apply the black. Hope that helped!
