What makes you think that Kasumi has compassion for anyone? Other than being duty-bound to take up her mother's duties as house-keeper, Kasumi has shown very little compassion, other than being congenial towards others.

Somehow Kasumi in the Indigo tribe doesn't really surprise me. I mean she may be an airhead but at least she's likeable and modest about it. If only she could see how loco Doc Tofu gets when she's around

One problem, unlike the other corps, the Indigo Tribe recruits members who LACK compassion, the ring forces the alien emotion into the empty spaces of their minds so they can't feel anything else.
