I like the potential storyline that she was forced to make an emergency landing on this forbidden planet and was trying to find her way out of the swamp in hopes of discovering someone who could help repair her ship.  But, after an hour of wandering around aimlessly in the swamp, not only was she hopelessly lost, she also found herself stuck in the mud.  Struggling to free her legs merely drove her calves then thighs deeper into the mire.  Another hour would pass and her futile struggles now left her mire to her midriff in the mud.  Pissed and frustrated at her sticky situation, the sinking spacegirl was too preoccupied with her humiliating predicament to notice the swampworm emerging from behind.
