I ran in to him again while i was working on recategorizing some things in my runtime. I couldn't resist seeing what I could do with him in iray.
UV mapping on this little guy is terrible though. He could benefit from some updating.

Well, I tried. I created an awesome new UV set for it, but for some reason when you export this model from Daz as an obj it comes out bigger than it is inside Daz (way more verts).
So Because of that I can't make it work without just transferring everything and replacing the model with my new obj and UVs. Good for personal use but not redistributable.
I searched for info on why it exports differently, but sadly I can find nothing helpful. Any Ideas? If I can figure out the issue there, i will make them again.

Dee, you are already talking over my head so I won't be much help. Last thing I tried to UV Map was back in Poser 5 with UVMapper Pro. And even then it wasn't like embedded/saved UV Sets you can do now in Daz Studio :/ Sorry. Sounds frustrating though.

That's ok My frustrations usually lead to breakthroughs in the learning process.
I have never used anything accept Blender to UV map, it is way easier and you have way more control over the maps.
