Description
Hel is the goddess of the dead in Norse mythology. She is the daughter of Loki and Angrboda.She is described as having been appointed by the god Odin as ruler of a realm of the same name, located in Niflheim.
Her appearance is described as half-black and half-flesh coloured and as further having a gloomy appearance.

There aren't that many good artwork interpretations of Hel, or they just go the lazy road and make a sexy woman in a sexual pose with skull somewhere. This however, is an actual try at making something convincing. I commend this and the result which is actually quite an original take on the character.
