And after i finished drawing this the world imploded =BOOM=Seeing Hetaliamon made me do it, i swear
Then as i was shoving the Hedone Highers in i was thinking to myself what a bad idea this was lol |DI only used Pokemon from the first and second gen, because i only played those two and after them the creators started running out of good names and concepts
Marcus gets a Sentret because they're both cautious "scouts" and would rather stay out of danger then fight.
Zeke gets a Chikorita because i'm sure the fragrance that comes from Chikorita's leaf would help him sleep more/better.
Wei Ren gets a living laptop battery recharger in the form of a Raichu 
Izm and Charmeleon because they have somewhat similar temperaments during fights (although Izm is much more calmer) and they both have a lot of red.
.D got an Espeon because "An ESPEON is extremely loyal to any TRAINER it considers to be worthy. Idk i just figure an Espeon would go for .D lol.ON ANOTHER NOTE --

Well i can kinda half tell you what pokemon team i had when i was playing Gold (although i think if i was still playing it the team would probably change some)
If i recall, in my party i had a Typhlosion (cos my starter was Cyndiquil and i always tend to carry my starter 100% of the time), an Umbreon, an Espeon, a Charmander (holding an everstone). The other 2 i can't remember

Ah man, I remember seeing the Umbreon when I was five and wanting one so badly XD They're still really amazing *w* Honestly, I've never played any of the Pokemon games but I have a friend who's waaaaay into them. She has that training guide or whatever it's called, that huge book filled with the info on every single Pokemon that ever existed.
But sorry, getting off topic =o=" Are Cyndiquils a pretty basic Pokemon to have as starters? What kind of Pokemons are best to start off with?

In Pokemon you can carry around 6 pokemon with you, doesn't matter who or what as long as you caught/were given/own them. So basically you can mix and match. Here are the Pokemon teams i put together for the HH crew if they were actually in the world of Pokemon lol [link]
There are 3 starters in ever Pokemon game (except for Yellow, where you start with a Pikachu), one pokemon representing fire, one water and one grass. You can pick only one to begin with and they often kinda set the initial "difficulty" level of the game (depending on the first gym trainers that you have to beat). Generally the water starter is the "easiest" to start with because the first gym leaders tend to have rock Pokemon which is weak against water, whereas the fire starter is the "hardest" because they are not as effective against rock Pokemon.

No it's just the fact that it always killed me even though I had freakin Squirtle somehow, it was always such a bastard to beta in a fight soooo I have a long driven hate of it

Halfway through Diamond I realized that... I still only recognized the Pokermans from the first generation, lmao.
My limited knowledge of later generations aside, these seem like really good fits. I would make a joke about Izm being able to light SOMETHING ELSE with that tail; but I know he only sells and doesn't use so it'd make no sense.
Also I really like the background. It reminds me of simpler times in gaming... |D
