YOU KNOW WHAT'S FUN? Customising your DA page!
Some people offer really cool custom page commission, but maybe you don't have the mulah for their services and have to do it yourself. But if you don't know how to code or really read code it can be...less fun.< i dont>
^ IF THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR WELL THEN THE CUSTOM BOX COMPILER IS THE THING FOR YOU! All the code's been dumped in the background so you get a pretty simple interface to work with instead
When used in conjunction with the free custom box resources available on DA, you can make some pretty nifty layouts quite easily!Custom boxes are a Premium Member feature only
Much like the Journal CSS Creator v1.5 , this thing is basically a plug and play - plug in your info, hit that "GET CODE" button and you get insta-code to copy/paste into your custom box wham bam thank you mam. There's a special section called "Source code" which helps to utilise some of the free codes found by other people for greater customisability options, so i recommend you read the tutorial cos it's explained in there.
You can also save up to 3 of your custom box layouts! Though if i ever update this file you might lose them cos i can't guarantee DA will use the same server to do it lol.

You can still use this (to a degree) to pretty up the description area of your Featured Dev. You are however limited to only Layouts 1 and 2 and you can't use the source code functions etc.

Are you using the image's direct link? It's what you get when you right click on an image and "copy image location"

Oh Chrome. Ok just for clarification do you mean that you can't paste the text into the compiler? If you've been trying to "right click > paste" into the form field; try using the keyboard shortcut for paste instead, which is "ctrl + v" (if you are on windows) or "command β + v" (if you are on a mac) and that should solve the problem

I know how to code, but tbh my issue is just I don't want to write the base codes over and over

Yeah oh my gosh I'm not excited for eclipse. Like, it's a really cool revamp, and I like the stuff they did add... but not happy with the most of everything they didn't add.

Right??? There's a bunch of stuff i dont like about Eclipse but at the moment the one thats really irking me is the removal of pretty much any "advanced" customisation like journal CSS and stuff. I'm not sure what they think Core is going to offer people without that option tbh.

Try refreshing the page and if that doesn't work try a different browser (sometimes it has issue on chrome for whatever reason)

You can add an image to a content box by typing the appropriate html into the body text section ()
Turning the left column pic box into a text box will require you to manually find that box's section in the code and then rejig it. One way is if you set up according to the template, you can later look for your image code that you put in the pic box and move it to where your content 2 info is and vice versa and that will effectively swap them over (be sure to move just the inside content parts of the boxes).

Cant paste into the editor or they are not outputting? If your images arent showing up:
- Make sure you are using the direct link to an image (right click > copy image location/address)
- Make sure the image is hosted on a secure site (https://...) like your sta.sh because i dont think DA will show them otherwise

It does appear the option paste, but it doesn't appear the address and the image I used this one to try out the aditor, in the "pic section" >Β Chibi .
So the image is hosted. When i press the option "paste" it doesn't show thw addres and the image, but it doesnΒ΄t show the code.Β

Are you using the direct link to the image or the normal url link to the image? One points directly to your image file (a url which ends in either png, jpg or gif - which is what you need), and the other points just to your deviation in your gallery (which is the wrong link). If you use the wrong link the Compiler doesnt show the "live prev" stand-in pic or output any code.
On your chibi image, you want to RIGHT CLICK on the actual image itself, which will then open up a menu. From this menu you then should select the option "copy image location" (or "copy image url" depending on what browser you are using). Then just paste into the compiler.

Ooohh i think i know what you are doing now - are you trying to "right click > paste" into the form field? Yeah idk why that way is not working.

For some reason I can't copy paste using this thing

If the "copy" button doesnt work for some reason you can try the manual way (instructions at the bottom of the output window)
I have found that sometimes people who use Chrome might have small issues due to the nature of how it handles flash, so if you are using Chrome maybe try a different browser and see if that works for you?

It's very small and right at the bottom of the output section (just above the save/load/reset buttons). Basically if you click in the output section, you can use cmd+A (or ctrl+A) to highlight all the output code and then use cmd+C (or ctrl+C) to copy the code. Then you can paste into your custom box widget

You select one of the templates and it will take you the appropriate wireframe - if you can't seem to click on anything please try a different browser (assuming you are using Chrome, which doesnt seem to like the flash sometimes)
