Description
I have done this one for KwapiKwapisz, on her FanFiction "In the End" about Murtagh from Christopher Paolini's Inheritance-Cycle (and Jazira is her original character). You should read it if you're interested in the Eragon-books, she's really good at writing!
Another point was that I wasn't satisfied with my old version of Murtagh anymore and wanted to give him another try. I went for dark-brown hair instead of black this time, because I thought there was already enough black in the picture (that's also why I chose to colour the shirt red instead of the average black he's usually wearing. And of course it matches the colour of his dragon, Thorn ).
And it was rather difficult to find a way to draw Jazira, because I didn't want to spoil her I had different kinds of dresses in mind, for example, and it took me some time to find THE dress.
It was difficult as well to find a good "scene" to put them both in... I was not sure how I should make them interact. But I think it turned out quite well

To colour it, I used fineliners for the outlines, then coloured pencils for hair and clothes. The only exceptions are the hem of Jazira's dress, which is done with a gold felt-tip, and the hem of Murtagh's shirt, done with silver felt-tip.
Jazira's dress's hem was extremely difficult to colour, because of the details on the sleeves!
