Description
I had no idea it would turn out like this, because I didn't know what I wanted to create in the first place. Got the balloon from stock.xchng and the others are from my own stock. I hope you like it.Related content

I saw your gallery and thought: "Oh my god, it looks like paintings, but still better somehow!". You're the one with the talent. Thank you very much for the comment by the way!

Welcome..
I have tried a digital painting one time.. but not very successfully.. At least I was not very happy.. as I have idea what I think will be really hard to manipulate, I might try again.. but yeah.. manipulation is the thing for me.. and to be honest.. I never thought it would be.. I just started my first piece and there it went.. it will be year soon.. doing manips.. oh..

Cool. It's always interesting to hear how people started with manips and such. I think I've learned everything myself, perhaps some smaller tutorials for some things but mostly I've learned everything from scratch by experimenting. I've had a course at school too, but it was very basic, but still... Inspiration is very important too.

I have learned everything by myself and read very few tutorials.. and I think somehow.. it makes things much clearer.. you learn trough process.. it is not theoretical knowledges.. you truly understand it or if not.. you at least how to use it

There are some really good tutorials hera att deviantart actually. It really took me some time to find them though, because I didn't know they even existed here, but they are. The browsing function on this site is great (sadly that some are a bit lazy with the tagging/adding keywords to/of pictures they submit ). I would like to learn more, and learn how to use stock photos in a better way than I do now... I've seen so many good manip works made with stock photos that look completely different from the originals.
