Description
One of the reasons why I've been so quiet is because of the next project, a stand-alone book I am creating, REDEMPTION.Enjoy this first piece.

As Bowman sat and leaned against the wall after patching up his last wounded brother in arms, he flipped his visor up and looked out into the carnage and gore that he and his brothers fought off. He looks at his bloodied, torn gloved, hands and sighed. Being a combat medic wasn't easy, but he never thought for a moment he wouldn't fail his friends, his brothers.
'If we don't get the right to go home after this...I'm gonna show what happens to a man when he wakes the wrong dog.'
(And the dog thing: its a proverb. when you have a bad habit and a good habit. you want to be good but the bad habit is always begging you. well you have to fight one or the other. and the won you want to become is the one you feed.)

Here i'm sitting, working on a piece that i'm quite happy with... And then i see this. My computer almost went out the window

Ahh your art is truly, should I say, motivating and inspiring! A heated feeling of "one day I will be as good as he is" is bubbling in me like water about to boil. Your adherence to detail - not dismissing even the cotton bulging out of a ripped collar as too unimportant an element - is what essentially brings the art to life with an intricate story. Not to mention your technical skills.
Though most likely a mere minor brainfart, what struck my eyes in a not-so-oh-wow-way is the bullet hole in the upmost part of the wall; or more so, the lighting in it. It appears reverted in regards of the main light source of the picture, giving it a funny convex look - (and if stared at long enough, a concave! Dizzying.) To put it more concretely, in the hole, the ridge facing the light source ought to cast a shadow on the hole's left (seen from us) half, and the opposing side bask in light. But I'm sure you caught what I was after.
