as threatened promised in my journal, here are a bunch of static sketches! \o/ some of these are rather old and i had forgotten about them until now... i am apparently really redundant in what i draw. like random running scenes, or virgil being a goof with his tongue out. what is up with that, i dunno XD;for the record, i am aware that i always draw v's shirt off-model. random lines and circles are easier than sleeve numbers.
one of these days i'll learn how to draw dreadlocks properly. OTL

Yaoi doesn't just attribute to Japanese porn, it can refer to what it's literal translation means, "Boys Love". Yaoi can be attributed to any form of fiction that involves young men in love.

Maybe in 2007. No one off dA uses "yaoi" to mean generally shipping two male characters anymore. It's stupid and dehumanizing tbqh. It's a relic from a time when male/male ships were considered outlandish fantasies of stupid fangirls who only liked it because it was "hawt." Even the term "boyslove" walls ships off into some kind of secret fetish box. It doesn't need it's own genre label. It's just shipping. Do not call my male/male ships "yaoi."

well i know i've done things in that vein before (eons ago, before i could draw at all) and i go through an annual "OMG STATIC SHOCK" phase, so next time it rolls around i'm sure i will

it always annoyed me that he has a see-through face mask. i mean so much for a secret identity, y'know? :\ but then i read something in fandom (don't remember if it was a fic or just a discussion) that suggested his helmet front is actually opaque to other people IN the show, and only looks see-through to US so that we the viewers can see his facial expressions.
