Description
This beautiful swallowtail butterfly only gave me a moment to catch this image before it flew away deep into the trees and beyond my sight. I waited, but it never came back out. This was the best I could do, and while not a favorite of mine, I think it at least shows the amazing beauty of this little guy..or girl.

It was very difficult to capture! I followed this guy around for a good month before he landed someplace reasonable.

Thanks so much! This is one that I almost forgot about. It was taken when I lived in FL and it is the only image I ever managed to capture of this beautiful creature.
