Oh no, The Doctor's been hit with a feminisation ray!So yeah. I frequently refer to Daste by her newly acquired title of Doctor. It was a logical progression from that to drawing her as the 11th Doctor.
And yes, that's a Skyrim reference in the background.

Narrative purposes, I suppose. You're quite right that the Doctor could regenerate as a female, but there's a greater likelihood one of his enemies would force the Doctor into a female form to put him/her mentally and physically off balance.
I say this because previous regenerations have shown that the Doctor is capable of moving with no signs of the clumsiness you'd expect from a rapid variance in height. I'd like to think that if the Doctor regenerated into a female, she'd pretty much be able to handle the new centre of gravity, and method of moving straight off the bat.
Whereas a device that rapidly switches the gender of the person it's targeted to is more likely to have a greater period of time for adjustment, which an enemy of The Doctor would try using to their advantage.

actually the most awsome is that this could be cannon as refered in the episode" the doctors wife" his friend the crosshair sometimes regenerated into a woman and as the doctor quotes: SHE WAS A BAD GIRL XD

Don't forget The Doctor having a mild panic attack when he regenerated into 11 and briefly thought he'd become a girl.
