My biggest illustration ever!! As you know, I'm a huge fan of the classic MOTU figures, specially the vintage box art and the mini comics. So this was like a dream assignment for me. The chance to paint a battle with several of classics MOTU characters... an ultra-fun piece to paint (and hopefully not the last one)

The ones I can't name are, from top left to bottom right, the snake man in blue; the griffon Beast Man is riding; the frost dude with the icicle club; the green guy right behind him; the red skull dude with the hammer way in the back; and the two big lumbering silhouettes behind him; and the weird looking blue guy near Evil Lynn.Β

I'm a HUGE fan of the classic MOTU art from their box art, posters and mini-comics. So it was an amazing chance to pay homage to all those classic images.
I spent 2 weeks on this piece, but I think it was worth it

Every poster looked like it could have been for a movie or a heavy metal album 
That's even more impressive to me. 2 weeks is really quick for something that size with that many characters.
