This...turned out bigger than I wanted it, but at least it's still smaller than the skull emote on here. I've always wanted to take a crack at redesigning the skull, but pixeling bones has always been a challenge, especially tiny skulls. In this design I cheated a bit with the brush and smudge tool but tried to keep it as pixeled as possible, it is however technically more pixel art than our current one.

Update 06/06/12: Decided to animate it a bit = win.
