This was something I designed a long time ago. I updated it with some improved shading, but the overall shape has not changed. Back in the day when I designed this, it was utter hell formulating pixels to convey a clover. Took me a while to figure out a decent pattern. I tried to make it smaller but there is just no way with out making it look ugly. But at least it's under 20 pixels 17 pixels! Perhaps one day it will replace the shamrock emote on here. By the way a traditional shamrock only has three leaves.

Update (same day as submission date thanks to a stroke of genius): Success!!! I made it smaller AND it has a stem!
