Very late reply from the last chapter(sorry!!)

Unfortunately if I said my thoughts now it would sound rather dumb but I always thought he would escape with the source of his own Philosopher's Stone since we never learned if Selim absorbed that one or not. :4

:/ I really wish that he did that. But, still, he did have a cool entrance. And a cool exit (though it was sad for us fans). He will forever remain in the hearts of his rabid fans (like me) even though he'll probably never show up again.

Well, 'exit' isn't what I would call it. Until the series ends I'm going to wonder

But alas, all we can do is watch and wait. I won't say he is 'dead' until the series is over and they say it. Stay optimistic..!

Wouldn't be amazing if he turned out to have been "escaping" Selim's abyss of souls when he tipped his hat to leave? I mean...Really. Where do you think all those souls WENT when Selim ended up as that tiny homunculus thing, anyway? Considering Kimblee hadn't lost his sense of self, I'd say it's very likely that...

Yes. *cough* WE CAN DREAM...And even if we never hear from Kimblee again, we rabid fans can always make up perfectly logical stories regarding how he might still be alive/be brought back to life! XD And, far as we're concerned, any possibility's existence is all that matters.

Because we are just as crazy as Kimblee...just in a different, less scary, way.

I think they could have been absorbed by Kimblee's stone. There were quite a few left for Selim to instant k.o-ed unless that is what the 'mind of an homunculus' looks like all the time. *shrug* Since Roy didn't come up with Riza maybe we will have an epic showdown of Kimblee-Riza-Roy saving the day after Elric 'lost' his arm and everyone got unexpectedly shot with a Father blast of doom.

Yes I would never call him dead until the mangaka herself writes any of the characters saying that he is dead. SO...8| Cursed the cursed fate of always falling for the characters that 'die' all the time.

I think Kimblee's craziness is much more sexy though.
