It's been a hot minute since I've done a piece about a global issue.

The media talks a lot about how many cases there are or how many more people have died but they rarely say how many people have recovered. As I'm writing this, yes there have been over 10,000 deaths but there have been 90,000 cases where people have been discharged/recovered (Those numbers are just from closed cases).

Here in the UK we have been asked to stop non-essential contact with other people, self isolate if feeling unwell and avoid all unnecessary travel, which is resulting in people panic buying and leaving the elderly and workers such as NHS staff with empty shelves in supermarkets.

This pandemic is causing a lot of problems worldwide especially for small and independently owned businesses.

So please if you do go out, just keep a thought for those on the front lines helping in hospitals etc or those businesses that are struggling. Everyone is in the same boat and a little good deed to someone goes a long way.

Remember to wash your hands, avoid touching your face and use tissues when coughing or sneezing.
