You don't really want him to have magical powers in my story do you ? I thought I'd just have him perform some parlor tricks later, but nothing serious.
His real skill later will be in determining what secrets Tricia is holding from me.
Ultimately (hopefully) where Nancy Principle is now, there won't be any magic.
In any case, from all the work I've seen you do so far, very well drawn !
