i really like this piece so far but i'm taking it very very slowly cause i'm planning on submitting it to a collab on Twitter
i'm really nervous about this one cause the theme for the collab is "happiness" and i feel like... i could do a better job at portraying that emotion than this??
this illustration is an old wip that i haven't translated to digital until now. i really like the original so i don't wanna change it up too much, but when i think of happiness i think of more yellows and laughter-- this is more calm and romantic.
because of this i'm thinking of making an entirely new piece for the collab and finishing this one for myself later. i don't know... i'm really stuck on this rn.
i've never done a collab before and i want it to represent myself really well; to make a good impression and get more of a following. i'm really creatively stuck rn and i feel this piece will portray my style and skill really well. if i make a new illustration,, it may represent the theme better but i don't have a clue what i would create or if it would look as good as this. i'm doing tons of research to find a good solution but it's just falling flat rn
