so i saw on one of the Q&As the idea of designing mounts for your folk? which is an idea i IMMEDIATELY fell in love with, and so a few sketch pages later i came up with this! it's a sort of camel/raptor desert-dwelling species - i haven't decided on a name for them yet but they're fairly placid bipedal herbivores, they use the large areas of loose skin on their body to regulate body heat by pumping blood into it (like an elephant's ears!). they have long claws for digging and a sharp beak for munching on tough desert vegetation `v`/=3 nuct uses this one to carry their stuff around basically, and when they're feeling too lazy to walk places.

i'll probably write up some proper notes on them later (and maybe clean this up a bit, i feel so bad that all my stuff for nuct is so sketchy haha), but i'm pretty happy with the design for now! (also if anyone would like to make one for their own folk or whatever i'd be totally flattered, please do!!)
also here's a version without gear for posterity.
