Amazing. The balance of darks and lights is impressive. I don't see why the person wouldn't want it. But I can relate to the situation. I can't stop looking at this you really are good.

I think it came out rather well. If it was to be a paid job however though that really sucks. I find that half payment up front for artists is the best route to go because it commits both parties.

At least half of the agreed upon price. Keeps both parties honest. The artist becomes committed to finish the project and the customer most likely won't back out of the deal "like changing his/her mind". I know as artists we hate to bring up how much a commission will be worth or demanding money for what we do. As artist I think it is safe to assume that we want to be respected as artist, however we won't get that respect by being doormats.
