AHH, yunno! I'm going to post this here... Cause it's been awhile!This is a commission for of her character Gus(middle) with my Colonel pups Bianca and Arlo about to fight their way through another zombie hoard or two.
paperbackd is awesome, always gives me lots of artistic freedom AND got to include my own characters. This was fun! Haven't really.. done backgrounds in awhile.. haha. Feeling a little rusty!
I dunno about you, but I can't help but wonder where Badger is! :0 ohno!
This reminded me of an old webcomic idea I had wanted to write out about dogs during a zombie apocalypse, was going to call it Left for Dog XD I can only imagine its been done by now though! Would be a super fun side project if I ever had the time ;__;

I thought at first the bat that Gus has in his mouth had a nail in it, but now I see it is a cigarette and that's just badass XD Holding onto your weapon and your cig in your mouth at the same time
I don't think the idea of animals left behind in an apocalypse setting is anything new, but I'm absolutely certain your take on it would be creative and intriguing! So many ideas and so little time, I know the feeling, but I hope you won't give up entirely on the idea as I'd LOVE to see it!

It occurs to me, this could be a fun premise for a computer game. Dogs with baseball bats, fighting off zombies... And we could call it "Gone to the Dogs"! (Assuming that isn't too corny!)

YESS ahh. Im really happy with how it came out too. When I first started on the BG I was like OHGOD, this is gonna look awful. But nothing like a little exessive layering and shading to really bring a piece together!
