Description
An old rabbit and his hamster cohorts have been sent on a journey by the royal courts to find a lost city of gold as they believe it holds great treasure. Using vague maps given to them by the royal court they push forward into the unknown.Something has caught the little hamsters eye. The other hamster seems to be struggling with the heat.
12x9 inches 99% watercolor, a tad of white gouache, and a tiny bit of inks in the darkest of areas.
I had an image pop into my head and I just had to draw it, then I ended up pushing myself to do full color paints.

The level of detail in this is stunning! I can do naught but the simplest things with watercolour paints. Everything from the leaves and flowers to the strands of fur on the rabbit just pop.
