I'm getting a bit hyper on painting at the moment..

this is my submission this week for the always motivated challenge

The theme this week is 'Crossing', which I had in mind when I did this piece, but the more I think about it, the harder it is for others to see this theme in my work.. so I'll try to explain a little. Originally there was just meant to be the crossing of colours, e.g. the blue sky and red hair to make the purple shadows and the blue sky and yellow highlights of the hair to make the green coat. But then I also started to think about the journey of the character and the onwards crossing of time.. But I'm not sure if any of that comes across..
